  1. 1.Established on April 1st, 1936, the school was initially named "Kaohsiung Women's Technical School" and used the facilities of the former Juejiang National School during the Japanese colonial period (now Yancheng Elementary School).

  2. 2.On April 1st, 1938, the school was renamed "Kaohsiung Shude Girls' School."

  3. 3.In 1942, the school changed its educational system and name to "Practical Business School."

  4. 4.In December 1945, it was renamed "Kaohsiung Shude Girls' High School" and "Business Practice Girls' School." Mr. Zheng Yufan was appointed as the first principal after the restoration, followed by Principal Liu Qingrong in August of the following year.

  5. 5.In January 1948, it was renamed "Kaohsiung Municipal Girls' High School."

  6. 6.In August 1956, the four-year experimental high school was ordered to be suspended, and the school was converted to a high school.

  7. 7.Starting from August 1st, 1962, following the principle of provincial-run high school and municipal-run junior high school, the school operated as a junior high school, and the high school students transferred to Kaohsiung Provincial Girls' High School.

  8. 8.In May 1964, Principal Liu Qingrong retired, and Mr. Huang Xiaogan, the chief teacher, was temporarily appointed by the city government. On July 31st of the same year, Principal Su Benhuang took office.

  9. 9.Starting from August 1st, 1969, the school implemented nine-year compulsory education and was restructured as a junior high school. It was renamed "Kaohsiung Municipal Xinxing Junior High School."

  10. 10.In September 1971, the "Special Class for the Disabled" was established to enroll physically disabled students.

  11. 11.In August 1975, Principal Su Benhuang was reassigned, and Principal Liu Keqin took over.

  12. 12.In August 1978, Principal Liu Keqin was reassigned, and Principal Zeng Yongxiang took over.

  13. 13.In July 1982, Principal Zeng Yongxiang was reassigned, and Principal Li Zhaoxu took over.

  14. 14.In September 1983, the "Music Education Experimental Class" was established.

  15. 15.In February 1990, Principal Li Zhaoxu was reassigned, and Principal Sun Mingxia took over. The school implemented a pilot program for junior high school graduates to voluntarily enroll in senior high schools.

  16. 16.In August 1994, Principal Sun Mingxia was reassigned, and Principal Wang Caiyin took over, actively promoting community-based education.

  17. 17.In August 2001, the school was approved for complete high school restructuring and renamed "Kaohsiung Municipal Xinxing Senior High School," with Principal Wang Caiyin as the first principal.

  18. 18.In August 2002, Principal Wang Caiyin retired, and Principal Zhao Fengcheng took over.

  19. 19.In August 2009, Principal Zhao Fengcheng was reassigned, and Principal Zhang Tianyong took over.

  20. 20.In August 2012, Principal Zhang Tianyong retired, and Principal Jiang Chunren took over.

  21. 21.In August 2018, the approval was granted to establish a music gifted class in the high school section.

  22. 22.In 2019, Principal Jiang Chunren was reassigned, and Principal Chen Jinyuan took over.
